'Dancing With the Stars' Results: Candace Cameron Bure Gives Thanks for Experience, Support of Fans

Candace Cameron Bure may not have won the title on "Dancing With the Stars," but that doesn't have the star upset in the least. True to form, Bure is thrilled with how far she and partner Mark Ballas came during the season and that they were able to dance their final dance together.

"The support of my family, especially my daughter's cheerleading me on was amazing and worth it all!!" Bure posted on Instagram, along with a photo of herself and her daughter at the show.

"Thank you so much for taking this incredible journey with me!! I'm so grateful 4 all the fan support & votes each week. #DWTS I love you all. What a night!! 3rd place is pretty incredible for this mama!! Thanks @markballas for everything!!" Bure later added.

Throughout the season, Bure and Ballas faced numerous eliminations but always managed to make it through. Bure said that she never expected to make it to the semi-finals and then the actual finale but was grateful for the experience. She lost to Meryl Davis and partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy, who took home the title of champion and Amy Purdy and Derek Hough, who came in second.

Fans, though, are only somewhat disappointed that Bure and Ballas did not bring home the prize and have offered their compliments and condolences to the team.

"You are a winning team because you pointed to Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, Amen!!!" Daniel-Lisa Wilson posted on Bure's Facebook page.

"I admire how u stood with your Faith and witnessed to millions of people through the show. Thank you for your leadership," added Becky Clark.

Bure was adamant about her devotion to God during this season and often spoke about her faith on the series. She decidedly refused to wear what she deemed "inappropriate" costumes and always said she wanted to give full credit to God for all of her blessings.
