'Dancing With The Stars' Season 19 News: Week 9 Recap, Lea and Artem Eliminated

Week 9 of "Dancing with the Stars" sees the remaining pairs duke it out on the dance floor in the individual dances and the Trios. As this is the quarterfinals of the competition, the stars had to step up their game as they danced to routines and music that were picked by voters online and still have enough energy to dance with an additional pro in the Trios.

The evening started off with a surprise announcement: though they got one of the lowest scores last week, Tommy Chong and Peta Murgatroyd was announced as a semi-finalist so they'll be back next week. Here's the recap:

Alfonso Ribeiro and Witney Carson- Foxtrot
Score: 37 (out of 40)
Ribeiro channeled Fred Astaire in this dance and showed off a more classic side to him than what was seen in previous weeks. Bruno Tonioli said that the performance was a "brilliant hybrid of Astaire and Justin Timberlake." Carrie Ann Inaba said that the dance looked "effortless."
