'Dancing with the Stars' season 21 news, cast, spoilers: Bindi Irwin keeps her top spot, while Chaka Khan heads home

"Dancing with the Stars" season 21 definitely has an interesting lineup this season. This is why it's no surprise that in each episode, it can be anyone's game. However, the one person that seemed to have retained her position would be Bindi Irwin, who apparently is sitting pretty on top of the dancing couples.

In the latest epsidoe, the contestant performed dances that reflected and honored the place where they were brought up in. With the latest theme's "Hometown Glory," Bindi's reign on the show is quite literally a "home run." One of the pros in the episode is the significant improvement of a lot of couples; however, it doesn't seem that the effort of one was enough to get them through to the next round.

Bindi's chosen dance type was tango, and she definitely ruled once again. The 17-year-old Australian wildlife conservationist took her love for heavy metal and rock and incorporated it with the classic tango. To say the judges were impressed would be an understatement, as she seemed to have been able to bring on the magic to the floor for the second time. Julienne went on to comment, "You are one of the most bubbly people that I've ever met, but you have this little fiery rock star in there." Bruno had given a confusing but certain compliment, "It was like you are turning into Mad Max" while Carrie Ann cheered, "It was rock 'n' roll! You rock!!"

It didn't take long before Tom Bergeron finally announced the eliminated pair, which was Chaka and Keo, making them the first pair to be sent home. Despite not going very far, Chaka expressed her delight in being able to partake in the show. According to the recap by US Magazine, the music icon shared, "I absolutely enjoyed it, yes, and I'm so happy to have met everybody," However, she immediately revealed her regret for not have done better for the sake of her partner, Keo, as he she added, "I feel like I've done [Keo] such a disservice. He is by far one of the best dancers that I've ever seen."
