'Dancing With the Stars' Season 22 Cast Rumors: Robert Irwin Joining the Cast?

In what could be one of the most surprising speculations yet that has ever graced the "Dancing With the Stars" stage, it is said that Robert "Bob" Irwin will be joining the dance craze.

The previous season saw Bindi Irwin's victory, and now that the 22nd season is on the way, it is rumored that her younger brother will be the next Irwin dancer to compete against older and more experienced stars.

While the rumor is highly doubted by some experts, a youngster bravely competing with bolder and bigger stars would definitely be something that fans will look forward to, especially since Bob is the brother of season 21's champion.

Another name, which is undoubtedly a good pick for the show, is NFL star Rashad Jennings. The New York Giants running back has expressed last year that he really loves the show and is looking forward to showing off his dance moves on the hit ABC show. At the moment, it is unclear if he has settled with an agreement that would put him on the highly coveted list of celebrities for the next season.

Reports state, though, that he is in talks with the producers and it is very likely that he will leave the football field for some time to join the other stars in the glittering ballroom stage.

Italia Ricci is another name that has rang around social media for quite some time. She is well known for her performances in "Chasing Life" and is expected to be an amazing pick for season 22. She took to Twitter on Dec. 10 and hinted that she is being tapped for the exciting installment to come.

ABC has not confirmed Ricci's appearance on the show but it is expected that an official list will be revealed to the public sometime in the next month.

Season 22 of "Dancing With the Stars" will premiere on March 21 at 8 p.m. on ABC.
