The actor, Charlie Cox, was able to talk to Rappler about his character's relationships. He explained that his relationships between the two women are interesting, as they are both able to bring out a genuine side of Matt. However, he explained that though this is the case, the two of them did not get Matt as a whole.

He explained that while with Karen, he is able to be the man he aims to be, as she is brings out the generous and kind personality of Matt. However, he stated that Elektra brings out a different side to him.

He said, "With Elektra, it's the opposite. She knows all about Daredevil. She accepts that, and encourages him in a way that no one else does. But she also sees a dark side, or she tries to draw out of him a disregard for law and order, a disregard for people and property, and those things which isn't who he is."

Because of this, Matt was challenged by both women. He added that their presence made him questions his identity and morality. Because of this, his character was able to discover more about himself, as well as questions about what he wants to be.

In the mean time, there has yet to be any release date announced for "Daredevil" Season 3.
