'Dark Souls 3' DLC News: Additional 'The Ringed City' Details Revealed Via Screenshots, New Enemies And Weapons Teased
'The Ringed City' expansion to be released for 'Dark Souls 3' on March 28
Later this month, "Dark Souls 3" players will again be able to take on new challenges brought to the game by "The Ringed City" downloadable content pack, and developers have recently hinted at what the expansion will feature by releasing some new screenshots.
Over on Reddit, Bandai Namco community manager "Kimmundi" shared a new Imgur album that contains the screenshots along with some short descriptions of what is going on inside them.
Players should know that some of these screenshots may contain spoilers, so they are urged to proceed with caution.

First off, there are several menacing foes featured in the screenshots.
One showcases a fire-breathing dragon set against a dark backdrop. Black crystals are also fluttering about as the dragon continues to cut through the air with its fiery breath, and all of these will be things that players will need to deal with.
Another new opponent waiting for players in "The Ringed City" is one known as the Stone-humped Hag. The concept art alone for this creature already teases its terrifying dimensions and its strange appearance could be hiding terror great enough that even seasoned players may need to pause to collect themselves.
Also featured within the new "Dark Souls 3" screenshots are weapons and locations.
One weapon, known as the Chaos Fire, looks like it will be more than capable of scorching foes where they stand, and it figures to be one that can be particularly useful against certain enemies.
There's also one screenshot that gives players a look at "an ancient city that has sunken under darkness." That description alone should give players enough reasons to be cautious in this location, and they will likely see for themselves just exactly what kinds of horrors are hidden here in the very near future.
