'Dark Souls 3' News: First Title Release Was 'Incomplete,' According To Director; Latest Game's System Requirements Announced
Four years have passed since the first "Dark Souls," the action role-playing video game by FromSoftware, was released, but fans of the game are still on the hunt for potentially undetected items. Now, "Dark Souls" director Hidetaka Miyazaki has said that he is confident players have found all that can be discovered.
In an interview with Edge Magazine, Miyazaki revealed that there are no more items or specific gameplay left undiscovered. He said that "Dark Souls" is an "incomplete game," but that he would like to think that the game's players have completed it, through their discoveries, as they progressed in the game. "I'd love to say that the nature of this incompleteness was completely deliberate, but it is both deliberate and by accident, in different ways," he said.
The game director added: "I like to think that this way of creating – leaving spaces – is satisfying. So if there are incomplete aspects of Dark Souls III, please forgive us."
"When the player is inside the world of the game, there are various places where they feel they may be able to peek behind the curtain, pry open a window and see beyond," he added in the interview with the magazine.
Meanwhile, after the release date and the two collector's editions of the game were confirmed, fans now have official word about the system requirements for "Dark Souls 3" as well. According to Shack News, the minimum PC specifications required to play "Dark Souls 3," as revealed in the game's official Steam page, include:
