'Dark Souls 3' release date: Available for preorder with exclusive offers
With the anticipated release of "Dark Souls 3" soon approaching, players are now able to preorder the title, which features several exclusive offers.
The exact release date of Dark Soul 3 is still unconfirmed, but the game is expected to be available by 2016. Meanwhile, players can preorder the game for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 on Amazon UK. The PC version is expected to cost around $44 to $49, which is cheaper than the cost of versions for other consoles. By preordering, customers will be protected by Amazon's preorder policy, which will ensure that they will only pay the amount agreed upon, even if the price changes.
Those who preorder the game will receive bonuses in the form of a physical collectible. They will get a Dark Souls 3 poster with the size of 18 inches x 40 inches. This was also given to those who attended the San Diego Comic-Con. The bonus is only available for those preordering through the Gamestop website.
During the panel interview at the Gamescon 2015, Hidetaka Miyazaki shared some game features for the upcoming game. He announced that the game will have new weapons, armor, and a new battle arts system, which will allow players to utilize a variety of attacks with their weapons. According to The Guardian, the new feature was copied from the weapons of "Bloodborne."
Miyazaki addressed the comparison and said, "While working on Bloodborne, I started to realize what new things I should bring to Dark Souls 3, which has different characteristics, to allow players to have a viable range of tactical options, and character build options. Obviously in Dark Souls, the player is allowed to use items, magic, and more. However, as additional elements — as an evolution — I've added the Battle Arts to each weapon. Something similar will be added to spells in the game, and those definitely provide something new to Dark Souls 3. Those will maintain the basics, but bring something new to Dark Souls 3, that will definitely solidly polish the Dark Souls franchise, while remaining a Dark Souls game."
