Once police arrived at his Las Vegas residence, everyone in the house was interviewed and they found evidence of domestic violence. Dazayna was the only arrested. She was charged with misdemeanor battery and remains in custody.

She will appear before a judge Monday morning. Dazayna is one of Flavor Flav's seven children of three women. His family is no stranger to drama or jail time and his daughter is simply following in his footsteps.

Flavor Flav, whose real name is William Drayton, Jr., was first arrested when he accidentally set his house on fire, while playing with a lighter. By his junior year in high school, he had had already spent time in jail for burglary and robbery. His arrests would continue well into his adulthood.

He pled guilty to assaulting his girlfriend in 1991 and spent a month in jail. As a result he lost custody of his children and sank into drug addiction.

Two years later, he was charged with attempted murder for shooting at his neighbor and served 90 days in jail. He would later serve time for domestic and drug charges.

In 2002, he spent nine weeks a driving with a suspended license, parking tickets showing up late for appointments with his probation officer. As late as 2011, was arrested for an outstanding misdemeanor warrants for driving offenses.

One can only hope and pray that his daughter, Dazayna, will learn from her arrest and won't end up in and out of jail like her father.
