David Beckham in Car Accident With Son Brooklyn, SUV Fender Torn Off (VIDEO)
David Beckham got in a car accident with his son Brooklyn while heading out from his Beverly Hills, Calif. home Saturday afternoon. The millionaire and retired soccer player and his 14-year-old son hadn't gotten far when they crashed into another vehicle.
David Beckham's car accident occurred not long after he had gotten home from the gym with wife Victoria Beckham and their family, according to X17 Online. It's unclear where the 38-year-old Beckham and his son Brooklyn were headed, but they had barely gotten out of the driveway in their black Range Rover Sport before crashing into a white Acura MDX.
"It sounded really serious so we drove up the road to see what happened and realized it was Beckham," a photographer said. "The front fender was dragging on the ground, making a scraping noise on the pavement. It was pretty bad."
Beckham and his son emerged from the vehicle unscathed, and spoke with police after backing the Range Rover back up their driveway. The former player for the L.A. Galaxy didn't stay long though, which seemed to concern the other driver— she insisted the accident was Beckham's fault.
"You saw it all on camera, right? I wasn't speeding or anything," the unidentified woman asked paparazzi who flocked to the scene. She also directed them to take pictures of her fender, which was heavily dented but still attached to the SUV.
Once police arrived, though, both drivers stuck around to file a report.
