'Days of Our Lives' spoilers, plot news: Ben and Abigail possible blowup and Chad's predicament

Tension is building up this season on "Days of Our Lives" with the murder still unsolved, while some marriages may become rocky, including Abigail (Kate Mansi) and Ben's (Robert Scott Wilson).

According to Celebrity Dirty Laundry, Ben's temper will be tested this week as his relationship with Abigail hits a bump. Rumor has it that Abigail will more likely have another secret meeting with Chad (Billy Flynn). She is trying to be supportive of him during this tough time, but Ben might not understand that so much.

He is already trying to track her whereabouts using a GPS on her phone, so it means the trust between them is very low, and if Ben discovers where Abigail has been, a confrontation could happen, and could lead to a big blowup between the two.

If Ben does decide to talk to Abigail about her recent activities, Abigail will certainly feel betrayed that Ben had to resort to such tactics. This will work more against Ben's favor, as his mistrust will probably push Abigail closer to a more sensitive Chad.

Speaking of Chad, it seems that he, alongside Abigail, might be willing to reach out to Marlena for help. According to Yibada, Marlena's ability for hypnotherapy can assist Chad to retrieve memories from the night of Serena's murder.

However, Chad may become a little impatient and make plans to leave town, which Abigail will greatly discourage since this may bury him deeper into the ground. There are chances that the person setting up Chad is someone close to him. Chad's current inability to defend himself may lead him to go to jail for a while; however, it is suggested that another murder will occur while he is behind bars, so this could definitely help him to be off the hook, although not completely.

Days of Our Lives airs every weekday on NBC.
