'Days of Our Lives': Tension Rise Between Claire and Ciara; Chad Tells Abigail About Gabi

This week's run of "Days of Our Lives" will kick off with Chad DiMera's (Billy Flynn) move of coming clean to his wife, Abigail Deveraux (Marci Miller), about his real feelings for Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus). On the other hand, spoilers also suggest that things between Claire Brady (Olivia Rose Keegan) and Ciara Brady (Vivian Jovanni) will start to get ugly.

For several weeks now, Chad and Gabi have been having steamy encounters that do not sit well with him since he wants to stay with his wife, Abigail. It can be recalled that Abigail even saw them almost naked and hugging each other when they got locked up inside a freezer.

But despite Chad's attempts to deny it, he will find himself always thinking about Gabi. He recognizes the feelings he is starting to have for her but has no intention of pursuing them since he wants to remain devotedly married to Abigail.

Now that he wants to make his union with his wife stronger, Chad realizes that keeping secrets from her will not help. So this week, fans of the long-time running soap opera will find him confessing to his wife about his real feelings for Gabi. However, reports have it that Abigail is unlikely going to take her husband's confession well.

Meanwhile, it can be recalled that Claire and Theo Carver (Kyler Pettis) previously agreed to get intimate. However, Ciara arrived uninvited, interrupting that plan, and reports have it that Claire thinks she did that on purpose. Spoilers suggest that Claire will not go easy on Ciara for what she did.

The synopsis for the Monday, March 20 episode even hints at Claire berating Ciara but that is not the end of it since she seems to be planning something "devious" against the latter that will probably start another round of heated tension between the two characters.

"Days of Our Lives" airs weekdays at 1 p.m. EDT on NBC.
