'Days of Our Lives': Romance and Trouble-filled Episode Run for Feb. 13 to 17

NBC's long-running daytime soap opera, "Days of Our Lives," is gearing up for a blissful and romantic week starting Feb. 13 to 17.

Last week, fans saw what could probably be the last moments of Stefano (Joseph Mascolo) in the show. He was cornered and captured in Prague but disappeared later on in his jail cell. Although this is a bit baffling, it more or less gave the character a proper send-off as actor Mascolo has already passed away.

For this week, however, "Days of Our Lives" episodes will still be full of challenges ahead, but it does have happy, loving moments in store for its fans this Valentine's week.

The big romantic event to be watched out for this week is Steve (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla's (Mary Beth Evans) marriage or renewal of vows in front of the whole family. Furthermore, Stephanie (Shelley Hennig), Austin (Austin Peck) and Carrie (Christie Clark) are all going to attend, signifying a happy get-together in Salem for this week at least.

Meanwhile, Hope (Kristian Alfonso) will pass her time at Eric's (Greg Vaughan) farmhouse while endlessly questioning the latter about his feelings for Jennifer (Melissa Reeves).

There is also speculation that Hope will finally taste freedom this week because she'll apparently be around to lend Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) a shoulder to cry on once she receives the news of her son David's death.

Yes, spoilers indicate that David will be confirmed dead by the end of this week's episode run. Aside from that, Paul Narita (Christopher Sean) will also be found unconscious in an alley.

This week's episodes will also be filled with several problems. One of that is an impending court battle for the custody of Baby Holly. It is a face-off between Nicole (Arianne Zucker) and Belle (Martha Madison), and according to spoilers, Belle will apparently reveal something that will affect Nicole's chances of winning the case.

Chad (Billy Flynn) and Gabi (Camila Banus) will also find themselves in a sticky situation, thanks to a pesky device which Adrienne (Judi Evans), Deimos (Vincent Irizarry) and Anne (Meredith Scott Lynn) are planning to destroy.

Catch episodes of "Days of Our Lives" every Monday to Friday at 1 p.m. EST on NBC.
