'Deadpool' News: 12 Days of Deadpool

A new teaser for the upcoming "Deadpool" movie was recently released.

It was reported that the new poster for "Deadpool" was released to begin the "12 Days of Deadpool" event, which will end with the release of a brand-new trailer. The trailer is expected to release this Christmas day.

The promotional video for the "12 Days of Deadpool" had Ryan Reynolds speaking as Deadpool about the upcoming holidays. He said, "Hi, I'm Deadpool, the other jolly guy in a red suit with a lap worth sitting on. In the spirit of this most festive time of year, I've decided to release my holiday cheer all over the world. How, you ask? Well, you naughty stocking-stuffers, brace yourselves because starting today you're getting not one, not two, but 12 glorious days of Deadpool."

With that, the new poster is said to begin Deadpool's festivities. Deadpool is seen with a gun in the poster, boasting the provocative caption, "Wait 'til you get a load of me."

The second day of "12 Days of Deadpool" released more holiday photos of the quirky superhero. Ryan Reynolds was seen posing with a cardboard cutout version of his character. Reynold shared some poses while sitting on Deadpool's lap as if it were Santa's.

Reynolds also commented on the matter, stating that he was just going along with the holiday traditions. He stated, "I'm just like everyone else at this time of year: I go to malls, find a crazy man screaming in a red costume, sit on his lap, and tell him to give me free stuff."

Another teaser for the "12 Days of Deadpool" featured the character's master plan, which was drawn in crayon. The photo was exclusively featured on Deviant Art.

"Deadpool" is expected to hit theaters this Feb. 12, 2016.
