Death Rays Reason for Cows' Deaths, Says Farmer
A Canadian farmer is accusing local police, veterinarians and government officials for covering up the reason many of his cows have died over the past decade.
Werner Bock, a farmer in eastern New Brunswick, claimed to have lost more than 250 cows during the past 10 years. Local authorities, meanwhile, have denied any involvement in a cover up. They instead have charged Bock with failing to care for the animals in a humane fashion by refusing to feed them and provide them with proper medical attention, according to CBCNews.com.
Bock, in an effort to get his message heard, has posted several videos on YouTube detailing several instances of "ecological terrorism" and also the "death beams" that are causing his cows to die.

Bock contends that local veterinarians and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police are covering up the effects of the "death rays" and discrediting him to hide what is actually happening to his cows.
"At least 250 head of cattle have died from what we call a death beam," Bock said during a video posted on YouTube. "Where the atmospheric air is manipulated into a death beam, focused on the noses of the animals."
The farmer maintains that the animals inhale the death beam which causes them to slowly die, but is adamant that local authorities are refusing to take his claims seriously.
"This was covered up by the veterinarians and then it was covered up by the RCMP," he said in a video.
A trial date has been set for September and Bock is trying to get others he feels are involved to testify at the trail.
On Monday, during a pre-trial meeting, Bock attempted to issue subpoenas for three veterinarians and three RCMP officers, as reported by CBCNews.com.
Provincial Court Judge Jolene Richard responded by stating that two of the individuals will already be testifying, but she explained they will be testifying for the prosecution.
