Denver Nuggets Roster News 2015: New Players Seek to Improve Denver's Chances

Players like Gary Harris are back to play for the Nuggets.

The Denver Nuggets are heading into the new season with optimism as they are a team with all the places complete and they simply need to find the perfect chemistry to reach the next level.

They are undoubtedly led by Kenneth Faried who enjoyed an excellent season for Denver last year as he averaged 12.6 points, 8.9 rebounds and 0.8 blocks per game.

The team has a boat-full of point guards who promise to help the team's momentum and movement, led by the veteran Jameer Nelson.

He is on his 11th year and the 33-year-old should play important though limited minutes for the Nuggets.

Rookie Emmanuel Mudiay has created enough buzz after being picked up by the team seventh overall.

He was very impressive during his preseason game against the Los Angeles Clippers as he played 32 minutes and scored 14 points and three assists.

Although he had eight turnovers for that game, he did show positive signs that can only leave the Nuggets fans hoping for more.

In addition, Denver have added veteran players like Mike Miller who is sent for one thing – score when he can.

The shooting specialist may be 35 and his best days are behind him but he can still contribute in limited minutes for a team looking to burst to the elite of the tough Western conference.

Finally, there is Gary Harris.

The second-year professional is returning after spending his first year with the team and he knows that there is more at stake for him.

Denver seem to see this as well as many have predicted a bigger role for Harris in the coming season.

Last year, he was limited to 13 minutes per game where he averaged 3.4 points and 0.5 assists per game.

However, he is known most for his perimeter defence which will come in handy as he goes up against the best guards in the game.

His performance against the Clippers showed what he can do as he scored 11 points and stole the ball four times in under 30 minutes of play.
