It's a battle in the West.
The Pepsi Center will host a preseason match between the Denver Nuggets and the Phoenix Suns in the National Basketball Association.
Tip-off is at 9:00 PM ET and will be on October 16, 2015.
It's a battle between two teams trying to climb the playoff rankings of the tough Western Conference.
If preseason performances are any indication, then there are things to look forward to for both teams moving forward this season.
The Suns have played three games so far, and they have won two out of three.
They beat the Sacramento Kings 107-100 before thrashing the Utah Jazz 101-85.
Against Sacramento, Jon Leuer was ultra impressive as he notched a double-double with 17 points and 13 rebounds. TJ Warren also dropped 17 in the win as he shot 8-of-14 from the field and was 1-of-2 from the free throw line.
In their second win, it was Alex Len's turn to be the top man as he had 21 points and six rebounds in 22 minutes on the floor.
Markieff Morris played only 16 minutes but helped with 18 points and an impressive 70% shooting for the night.
Their winning streak ended when they lost 135-129 to the Houston Rockets but the positive from it is 23 points from Terrence Jones who had returned from a slight injury earlier in the preseason.
Meanwhile, the Nuggets are 3-1 in the preseason so far and have beaten tough teams like the Dallas Mavericks, Chicago Bulls and Golden State Warriors.
Probably most impressive was their showing against the Warriors when Kenneth Faried had a double-double with 22 points and 12 rebounds.
Rookie Emmanuel Mudiay continues to impress as he had 16 points and nine assists in less than 25 minutes on the floor.
He also drained 2-of-3 three point attempts as he continues to settle in his role for the squad.
Expect a great showing between the two teams in the coming match.
