After tabulating nearly 100 million votes from 139 countries made via their official website and LINE account, Soompi has finally announced the recipients of their various Drama categories. Song Hye-kyo won the most votes for Best Actress of the Year as well as Best Kiss with her series co-star Song Joong-ki. The two of them were also nominated for a Best Couple award, but were beaten by the on-screen chemistry of Jun Ji Hyun and Lee Min Ho.

Hye-kyo competed in the Best Actress of the Year category against more than 10 other actresses including Girl's Generation Yoona, who was last seen in the tvN drama series "The K2."

Just a day before the winners were announced, Hye-kyo was spotted in Tokyo, Japan, distributing 10,000 copies of the pamphlet titled "Meeting Our History Overseas," to commemorate the day of the Independence Movement. The pamphlets were printed in both Korean and Japanese and featured various historical Korean monuments in Tokyo. They were planned by the actress herself along with Professor Seo Kyung Deok.

"I hope that even something this small will help Korean tourists in Tokyo have a little more interest in Korean history that's all over the world," Hye-kyo said, as reported by All Kpop.

Hye-kyo will reportedly be seen playing Hana in the romance drama "Ships Passing in the Night" soon.
