'Destiny 2' News: Director Christopher Barrett Lists New Features and Improvements Expected to Be Introduced in the Future

New rewards among the things players can expect to see added

Many Guardians have likely poured in more than a few hours into "Destiny 2" already and have seen nearly everything the game has to offer.

While the game has drawn praises from many fans, those can quickly turn into groans of disapproval if the developers fail to provide adequate post-launch support for the sequel.

Recently, game director Christopher Barrett indicated that work on the game is not going to slow down just because all versions of it have finally been released.

Barrett provided a list which contains the various new features and improvements that are expected to make their way into the game.

Beginning with the new features, developers are currently looking into implementing new systems and adding more rewards that are designed to give the "most engaged players additional, optional pursuits."

Speaking of rewards, players can also expect that better kinds of these are going to be offered later on to those who take the time to complete adventures, strikes and Lost Sectors.

"Destiny 2" players are also going to be provided with more ways to spend what extra resources they may have just lying around.

Members of the competitive community will be given access to private matches and a new emote interface may be coming to the game in the future as well.

As for improvements, elements of the game including the Crucible, Exotics, Faction Rallies, the Iron Banner and even mods are in line to be tweaked.

Players are going to want to stay tuned to find out more about when those aforementioned features and improvements may be added.

While players wait for the addition of those things Barrett mentioned, they can still gear up for the second season of the game that is expected to get underway soon. Some significant changes are coming in season 2 and there will also be new pieces of equipment made available to players.

More details about "Destiny 2" should be made available soon.
