'Destiny 2' News: Second Faction Rally Event Announced

Developed by Bungie, "Destiny 2" has received critical acclaim since it was released in September. Standing as one of the most popular games in the community, the developers have announced the second Faction Rally, as the first event proved to be successful. Given the feedback from the first "Destiny 2" Faction Rally, some changes have been implemented.

"We noticed that players felt Lost Sectors were useful, but disliked the fact that they couldn't enjoy them with a fireteam, so we moved the faction tokens from the destructible items to the chest at the end of the activity," "Destiny 2" senior designer Tim Williams said, as reported by GameSpot. "The destructibles will still be featured as a daily milestone and are still available to help your fireteam clear out the Lost Sector. We're all excited to see which faction the players will help to win this faction rally."

The changes to be implemented are the following: Strikes, Nightfall, completing Publish Hero events, and opening Lost Sector Chests now reward faction tokens. Furthermore, players using a PC can now take part in the Faction Rally. Winning factions will be able to grab items at 1,000 glimmers each, while everyone else will have to spend 50,000. All the incentive items have been revealed by the game's developer Bungie, and fans can check it out on their website.

The "Destiny 2" Faction Rally allows players to align with three factions: the New Monarchy, Future War Cult, and Dead Orbit. The last faction won in the first Faction Rally event. The second event will be restricted to players who have reached level 20. For those who might far behind, there is no need to rush as this is looking to be a recurring event for "Destiny 2" fans.

The "Destiny 2" Faction Rally will kick off on Nov. 7 to Nov. 13.
