'Destiny 2' News: Know the Options on Pre-Order Editions, Contents and Prices
Shortly after it was confirmed that "Destiny 2" will arrive later this year, details on the game's pre-order editions are starting to make headlines so players can now start deciding which package to buy.
Late last month, game developer Bungie announced that "Destiny 2" is coming this year. The multiplayer first-person shooter game franchise was launched with its first game in 2014 and was only available on consoles such as PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. On a good note, the sequel's release has also been confirmed for the PC platform.
"Destiny" was known for its gameplay features that combine role-playing and massively multiplayer online game elements. Players will have to assume the character of a Guardian who has the primary task of protecting what's left on Earth from invasive alien forces.

Bungie offers the Digital Deluxe Edition ($99.99) that includes the Expansion Pass that gives access to two upcoming major downloadable content packs post-launch along with "brand new story missions, cooperative activities, competitive multiplayer, and a wealth of new weapons, armor, and gear."
The Digital Deluxe Edition is also packed with premium digital contents such as the Legendary Sword, Legendary Player Emote, along with a Cabal Empire Themed Emblem and the complete copy of the base game.
The "Destiny 2" Collector's Edition ($249.99) will include everything that is in the Digital Deluxe Edition plus a Frontier bag with a customizable backpack and a 15-inch laptop sleeve; a Frontier Kit with solar panel USB charger with built-in light, paracord, and solar blanket; and the Limited Edition SteelBook Case.
On the other hand, the "Destiny 2" Limited Edition ($99.99) offer includes the base game, Expansion Pass, the same SteelBook Case from the Collector's Edition, premium digital content items, and an exclusive Cabal-themed Collector's Box.
There is also an option to get just the base game and the Expansion Pass for $89.99. Meanwhile, players can also purchase the main game and Expansion Pass separately for $59.99 and $34.99, respectively.
"Destiny 2" will be released on Sept. 8.
