'Destiny 2' Tips & Tricks: Where to Find Xur and What's in His Inventory This Weekend

Every weekend, "Destiny 2" players look forward to finding Xur in order to purchase an Exotic weapon and armor piece from his inventory.

After a week of playing "Destiny 2" and collecting as many Legendary Shards as possible, players are hoping to get good finds from Xur's inventory.

The merchant's appearance every weekend has become a regular event for players, especially since most of the time, he sells weapons and armor pieces that can rarely be won or collected in the game.

Starting Friday, Nov. 3, Xur has been spotted in the woods within the European Dead Zone. To get there, players will need to fast travel to Winding Cove. Upon landing in the area, they should walk north and enter the forest.

Players must then walk further through the caves on the left-hand path or climb up the rocks in that direction to get up to the location. Xur will be waiting beside a patrol station.

For this weekend, Xur is selling the Graviton Lance Exotic weapon. While Xur's items are dubbed as "Exotic," it does not necessarily mean they are worth purchasing all the time. For example, last weekend, Xur's inventory had a sniper rifle that some commented would just end up in a collection instead of being a very useful weapon.

The Graviton Lance is characterized as a pulse rifle, and its special feature is every third bullet it fires becomes a black hole. While many agree that it could be a great weapon to use during battles, reports comment that most "Destiny 2" players who went through the campaign have probably acquired the rifle already.

This situation has been one of the minor complaints found among the "Destiny 2" community. The developers have recognized it and even promised that upcoming patches will resolve "instances of duplication" with what Xur offers every weekend.

Meanwhile, Xur also brings every class an armor piece every weekend. The merchant is currently selling the Young Ahamkara's Spine gauntlet for Hunters, the Mask of the Quiet One helmet for Titans, and the Nezarec's Sin helmet for Warlocks.

The Exotic weapon costs 29 Legendary Shards while each armor piece requires 23 of the in-game money.

Xur will be around in the same location until Tuesday, Nov. 7 at around 5 a.m. Eastern Time.
