'Destiny' Patch 2.01 Update Details: New Update Sees More Weapon Adjustments
Making the rounds this week is the latest patch for Bungie's shooter game, "Destiny." Following the latest adjustments found on the weapons at version 2.0, the recent 2.01 update sees more tinkering in terms of damage and range capabilities.
Citing some of the details posted at the official Bungie website, it was discovered that the Shot Package perks have already been replaced in Patch 2.01. In replacement is the non-range-boosting perk.
The issue of an unintended +20 attack bonus on the Black Spindle has also been fixed so as with the scope upgrade problems with the Rare Sniper Rifle.
A fix for the issue concerning the activation of the "Eye of The Storm" perk when readying the weapon is also included in the patch. The problem with the "Second Wind" perk has also been addressed.
Aside from the weapons, players will also get some fixes for their armors. According to Bungie, players "can now reroll Stat nodes and Upgrade nodes on exotic armor." This can be done via the "Twist Fate" node. The latter requires Glimmer, Armor materials and a Glass Needle.
Quests and Bounties are also given the attention in the new firmware. Fixes for the Hunter and Warlock class level-up quest issues are now addressed as well as with some Year 1 Exotic Bounty items which caused "lingering waypoints to remain over various NPCs."
Another interesting fix announced in the patch is the increased number of potential Shards as well as added materials that can be taken in the first King's Fall chest for the Raid: Kings Fall. The range of the Blighted Light explosion has also been altered to cover the entire Arena.
Players can now also find Tess Everis in her station at the Tower. Along with her return is the addition of a new type of currency, Silver. This can also be bought in console stores. Players will also be delighted to see the revamp of her booth.
