'Destiny's' Halloween Event: Get Your Free Goodies with The 'Festival Of The Lost'
The developer of the game "Destiny," Bungie, has announced that it will launch a Halloween Event in "Destiny," called "Festival of the Lost." Players can participate in this event and get access to a range of new content, quests and many Halloween goodies.
The "Festival of the Lost" has special content that is offered up to Nov. 9. Some of the items will still be active after the events, like the Legendary Masks, but some events will be for the Halloween Event only.
Some gamers must now be tired of the Crucible or the Hard Mode of "King's Fall." The 'Festival Of the Lost' is to be played in a gorgeous Cathedral. When gamers go to the Tower, they will see it has been redecorated for Halloween and they will be able to hear screams and wolf howls throughout the social area.
Gamers can avail of new quests, consumables, Halloween-themed candy and masks. Gamers will first have to go to the 'Destiny Shop' that is the Eververse Trading Company. Here they can shop for three new dance emotes for their Guardians, called Boo, Monsters Dance and Zombies Dance. One of the emotes is the iconic "Thriller" dance of Michael Jackson.
The price ranges from 300 to 700 Silver. The Silver is a new in-game currency that gamers can purchase by real-world money.
The interesting items are the Legendary Masks that can be used by the Guardians in social set-ups but are also required by some of the quests associated with Festival of the Lost. For the quests from Eva Levante, gamers will have to collect enough items from the Tower and then they can get access to three different quests.
Rare Quests will be offered until Nov. 9 and these can be obtained by opening Gifts of the Lost items. If gamers want to use the Legendary Masks beyond the Halloween Event, they can use some event materials to make one.
The same can be had by getting a Treasure of the Lost pack from the Eververse Trading Company.
The Treasure of the Lost pack is a mystery bag containing at least one mask and some surprise items. Next gamers have to go to the various NPCs on the Tower and collect candy from each of them.
This Destiny version of the 'trick or treat' can be used by the player to change the game experience of the weapons for a limited period of time.
