Detroit Pistons NBA Trade Rumors: Pistons Still Looking to Trade Andre Drummond

It's safe to say that Detroit Pistons president/coach Stan Van Gundy and general manager Jeff Bower are going to be very busy in the next few hours because they are going to have to listen to a lot of offers.

ESPN's Marc Stein has reported that the Pistons are willing to listen to trade inquiries for center Andre Drummond and guard/forward Kentavious Caldwell-Pope. While the team will consider deals involving the two, they are not committed to trading them.

Van Gundy admitted that they have received offers for Drummond, but he said none of them were serious offers. Well, they should be getting offers. Drummond is a double-double machine who has been one of the top rebounders in the league for years now. Sources say a trade is highly unlikely, though.

The ESPN report also revealed that the Portland Trail Blazers reached out to the Pistons and inquire about Drummond. However, the Blazers lost interest in a deal when the Pistons asked for C. J. McCollum. The Toronto Raptors and the Brooklyn Nets are reportedly interested in Drummond as well.

Caldwell-Pope's availability in trade talks is a little surprising because he's a superb perimeter defender and the type of player Van Gundy loves to have on his teams. Reports say he has been drawing a lot of interest in the market, so there's a chance that he may get traded if the Pistons decide to pull the trigger. According to ESPN, the Pistons are looking for "at least one future first-round pick and front-line player" in exchange for Caldwell-Pope.

Meanwhile, the Pistons are still shopping Reggie Jackson around the league. Stein has previously reported that the Orlando Magic have offered D. J. Augustin and Jeff Green in exchange for Jackson, but he said the prospects of a deal were fading.

The Pistons have not made any moves yet, but they have been involved in a lot of trade talks. Can they come up with a deal before the deadline?
