'Deus Ex: Mankind Divided' DLC News and Updates: New 'System Rift' DLC Brings Familiar Character on a Big Mission
The action roleplaying video game "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided" was just released last month. Now, a new expansion downloadable content is already out to further widen its virtual world.

Eidos Montreal, the developer of "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided", along with its publisher Square Enix, just released the game's first downloadable content titled "System Rift". The world of the critically acclaimed gets a vast new treatment that will surely make the fans excited.

Before releasing the expansion though, Eidos Montreal already released a patch that fixed a few bugs in the "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided", along with improvements on the Tobii Eye Tracking support and an additional lens flare option.
The downloadable content and regular patches are part of the "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided" season pass. The service retails for $12. The main "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided" game is playable on Windows, Mac, and Linux PC, as well as on the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One.
'Deus Ex: Mankind Divided' System Rift DLC
"System Rift" would be the first story expansion pack for the "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided." It is a self-contained story set in Prague, so it operates completely independent from the main quest. It sees the return of Francis "Frank" Pritchard, the close friend and former colleague of Adam Jensen at Sarif Industries. The expansion pack also focuses the friendship of the two as the quest goes on, given color by the witty banter and interesting dynamics through their interactions.
The new game mode of "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided" called the Breach will introduce ShadowChild. It will also introduce the origin of Breach itself. The new "System Rift" expansion will take a look at an infiltration of the Palisade Bank Corporation's Blade facility. This location can only be seen at a distance in Prague.
Details about the founders of the bank would also be uncovered. This then leads to the revelation of new areas in the city, as well as new characters and stories.
Upon exploring the Palisade Blade, Jensen will face new adversaries in the form of enhanced security features in the game. Secrets and hidden items could be discovered around the plaza, as well as alternative routes to enter the facility. Being such an iconic entity in the "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided" game, the Palisade Blade will now be the center of all thematic nuances showcased by the game.
