'Diablo 3' News: Necromancer Class Detailed Further, More Attack and Summoning Skills Showcased

Developers aiming to add the Necromancer to 'Diablo 3' sometime during the second half of this year

The Necromancer, a being famous for wielding the forbidden arts skillfully, will soon be added to "Diablo 3," and players can already start learning more about what this new character class will be capable of inside the game.

Developers showed off more of the Necromancer's skills in a recent Battle Net post, highlighting once again that this character can wreak havoc in different ways.

The Necromancer does not even have to do the dirty work in order to eliminate enemies.

As shown in the post, the Necromancer can summon a fearsome-looking Blood Golem onto the battlefield to take out any enemies standing in his/her way. Interestingly enough, the Blood Golem is not just an offensive force too, and in a pinch, it can be sacrificed to help out the Necromancer.

Revealed in an earlier Battle Net post, the Necromancer also possesses the ability to summon skeletons to fight for him/her. Some of these skeleton fighters specialize in close range combat, while others can take out enemies even from a distance.

"Diablo 3's" Necromancer also possesses some skills that can be used to replenish health and essence on the go while also dealing decent amounts of damage.

Skills such as Leech, Devour and even the Grim Scythe can get the job done in this regard, so these will be ones that players will likely be using a lot.

Players will also be able to test the Necromancer's skills as soon as this character class is added to the game's Public Test Realm, though an exact date for when that will happen has not been shared yet.

Developers also have yet to pin down an exact debut date for the Necromancer character class, but the planned release window is currently the second half of this year.

More news about "Diablo 3's" Necromancer should be made available in the near future.
