'Diablo 3' News: What Players Can Do Ahead of Season 9's Conclusion

Season 9 of 'Diablo 3' set to wrap up on March 17

Season 9 of "Diablo 3" is coming to an end soon. But before it officially wraps up, there may be some things that players may want to do ahead of that day.

Detailed in a new post over on Battle Net, the players who are able to reach level 70 prior to the end of this current in-game season will be able to obtain some special items. Specifically, players can expect to get their hands on exclusive chest and gloves transmogrification appearances.

These new appearances will be usable for both seasonal and non-seasonal heroes and players can use them inside the game by going to Miriam the Mystic.

Players may also want to continue with the Season Journey as well, with portrait frames and even an exclusive cosmetic pet still waiting for those who are able to complete different chapters of it.

Beyond those rewards, there are other reasons for players to keep grinding inside the game ahead of Season 9's end date.

Several game elements that were accrued over the course of this season will carry over to the next one, giving players plenty of reasons to keep going even as Season 9 winds down.

For example, the gold that players earn will soon be transferred from their seasonal heroes to their non-seasonal heroes. Paragon experience will carry over too, but players should know that it's the total amount of experience points earned by the seasonal heroes that are transferred and not their levels.

Items, Blood Shards and achievements will roll over as well.

Players still have a few more days to continue grinding, as Season 9 is set to officially come to a close on March 17. Following that, "Diablo 3" players will have new things to work on once Season 10 gets underway on March 31, and more details about that should be provided in the near future.
