'Dishonored 2': Fix-Filled Game Update 3 Now Live, Addresses Bothersome NPC Bug
Game Update 3 now available for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One versions of 'Dishonored 2'
Game Update 3 is now available for "Dishonored 2" players to download, and this one is all about getting rid of many bugs.
One of the more notable bugs being addressed by the update is one specifically related to how non-player characters could act in certain situations.
According to the patch notes posted over on Bethesda.net, there was a bug that could previously cause NPCs to stumble upon bodies again after players executed a Save/Load. This bug can cost players valuable time that they may use to complete the tasks at hand, so they will likely be glad to hear that this issue will not be popping up again with Game Update 3 installed.
Another NPC-related fix makes sure that the game will not crash whenever players opted to deal with them while using the Shadow Kill.
The newly released update also provides a couple of fixes for the "Long Day in Dunwall" quest. One of the fixes for the aforementioned quest makes sure that the screen will no longer go dark all of a sudden after a certain character is spoken to, while another eliminates a bug related to saving.
Given that "Long Day in Dunwall" is one of the first quests players will have to take on, it could be a big problem if players encountered some serious issues while attempting to finish it.
Other notable fixes in "Dishonored 2's" Game Update 3 include one that ensures Rats will now function better in the game, while another will fix the blurring issues that may show up whenever players used the journal.
Unlike the previous updates, Game Update 3 does not bring any new significant gameplay additions, but it is still one update worth downloading for players looking to improve the performance of the game.
More news about "Dishonored 2" should be made available in the near future.
