'Disney Infinity 3.0' update: release date approaching, six play sets revealed.
The Disney fever is on and children and adults alike are thrilled for the upcoming "Disney Infinity 3.0" that will hit store shelves by the end of August. By just looking at the game, fans can tell that it's fully packed with exciting and new fun stuff that players will enjoy. Following its predecessors, video game developer Avalanche has once again created a platform that features many characters in the Disney universe.
According to Heavy, "Disney Infinity 3.0" will contain six play sets that will primarily focus on the all new "Star Wars." The title alone will count for three play sets beginning from the campaign called "Twilight of the Republic" wherein players will move as Anakin Skywalker and Ashsoka Tano to deal with the culprit that is responsible for the rise of a reactivated Droid factory. The second play set will feature "The Rise Against the Empire" and will let fans play as Leia, Han Solo, and Luke Skywalker, as they set out on a mission to combat their greatest enemy, Darth Vader. The final play set will feature events from the upcoming movie, "Star Wars: The Force Awakens."
Other play sets included are "Inside Out" which will follow Riley and command five emotions, "Marvel Battlegrounds" which will make use of 2.0 edition heroes and new ones, and "Toy Box Takeover" which is defined to be an open world. Gotta Be Mobile cited that Avalanche provided users some handy tools that will let them create whatever they want in the Toy Box play set utilizing buildings and extras from the "Disney Infinity" story mode. "Zootopia" and "The Good Dinosaur" are also confirmed to be joining the action-adventure sandbox video game, along with Peter Pan that is deemed as a Toy Box's Artist's Choice figure.
"Disney Infinity 3.0" will be available on Aug. 30 in North America as a starter pack to PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii U consoles.
