Shailene Woodley and Theo James Not Dating: Divergent Movie Stars Have Their Own Relationships

As much as fans would have wanted "Divergent" stars Shailene Woodley and Theo James to be dating, the latest news claims the pair in fact are not together, with both stars saying they are just "good friends." Rumors about the pair dating goes back to even before the premiere of the Divergent film.

Right now, James is dating Ruth Kearney who he met back when he was still studying acting and this has been on for years now.

Even months after the premiere of the film, rumors and speculations about the two having a secret romantic relationship has been surrounding the stars. Those rumors have begun to pick up pace again as the sequel to "Divergent," "Insurgent," is to premiere on Mar. 20, 2015.

Woodley since her debut as the film "Divergent's" protagonist Beatrice "Tris" Prior has had to make adjustements. For one, she had to get used to being thrown with James (who plays as Tobias "Four" Eaton) as a romantic couple constantly.

Also, Woodley had worked with George Clooney before in his films such as "Descendants" and her switch to being the protagonist of a big blockbuster film were the sudden increase in spoken dialogues and lines. Of course, this was given being on a successful film series but it took Woodley some getting used to.

Fellow actress Zoë Kravitz had to remind Woodley of the magnitude of the film they were making, a big leap from her "Descendants" role.

"One day, I had some cheesy action-film line like, 'You're mine now' and I said, 'That's crazy, Tris would never say that. Then Kravitz said, 'Shai, you're making an action film now. Sometimes it's fun to just do things that don't make sense in real life.' So then it sort of clicked and I was like, Zoe's right, this isn't an indie film, it's a big blockbuster," Woodley said during an interview, according to RadioTimes.
