In the brief clip, fans can see the iconic TARDIS as it is flanked in all directions by tanks. The clip also hints at one of the good Doctor's unique talents, indicating that "He has a box that you can call for help."

A recent report from Digital Spy also shared the official synopsis of "The Pilot," and according to it, there will be an important and fortunate encounter that fans will witness once Season 10 gets underway.

To be more specific, "The Pilot" will feature the Doctor (Peter Capaldi) running into a girl named Bill (Pearl Mackie), who has been described as someone "with a star in her eye."

This unexpected meeting with the Doctor will apparently prove to be a destiny-altering one for Bill as she will soon be able to learn even more about the universe around her. She is also set to become the next featured companion who fans will get to know better in the upcoming season.

Nardole, who is played by Matt Lucas, may also be making an appearance in the debut episode of "Doctor Who's" tenth season.

Season 10 of the show is expected to run for 12 episodes, though at this point, more details about the upcoming offerings have not been shared just yet.

More news about "Doctor Who" should be made available in the near future.
