Doctor Who Season 8 Spoilers, Latest Rumors: Recap of Episode 2 'Into the Dalek'
The latest episode of "Doctor Who" titled "Into the Dalek" sees The Doctor and Clara being shrunk down and going inside the body of a sick Dalek, according to reports.
The ailing Dalek, after experiencing the wonder of seeing a star being born, develops a conscience and wants to stop the other Daleks from destroying everything in sight.
The Doctor, along with Clara and three troops from the spaceship where the TARDIS landed on, shrink down to fix whatever it is that is making the Dalek sick. However, once the Doctor treats the injury, the Dalek regains his strength, and along with it his old mindset to destroy everything. This happens while the Doctor, Clara and the troops are still inside, and the Dalek goes on a killing spree in the spaceship.
One of the troops inside the Dalek dies, and he awakes to find himself in heaven with Missy. It looks as if she is still looking after the Doctor and guiding the people who have died around him. If Missy continues to do this, then fans can expect to see more of her on this season.
The Doctor is seen being miserable as he contemplates that there might be no such thing as a good Dalek. However, Clara thinks that the Dalek may be suppressing good memories which could put a stop to the killing. They decide to push through with a plan which involves the Doctor heading off to confront the creature in the robot shell, while Clara and one of the troops make a beeline to the computer's brain to set free the good memories.
The plan doesn't work, so the Doctor decides to link his mind to the Dalek's to show him all the wonderful things in the universe. Unfortunately, by doing so, the Doctor also revealed his hatred for the Daleks. That caused the Dalek to turn on his own kind and kill them all.
Later, with everybody back to Earth, Clara is seen with Danny Pink, a former soldier who now works as a teacher at Clara's school. They end up going out for drinks. From the way they're looking at each other, it looks like love is in the books for Clara this season.
