'Dominion' season 2 episode 12 plot news: Michael and Gabriel battle to death

The upcoming episode of "Dominion" is expected to put Michael and Gabriel in a life-threatening battle.

Episode 11 of "Dominion" left off with the amphora's darkness spreading trouble around the city. With that, David Whele had consulted his 8ball self to see how to amend the happenings.

Furthermore, Noma also experienced a hallucination that she had her wings back. Meanwhile, since Alex was the only one unaffected by the evil of amphora, he was able to defeat it.

The upcoming episode of the season is titled "Day of Wrath," according to TV Guide. It was reported that the episode will see Michael and Gabriel in a fight since Gabriel was the reason that the darkness was unleashed to destroy the city.

"Day of Wrath" is expected to have several action-packed scenes, as well as suspense. The teaser for the upcoming episode showed the two in a battle to the death. The promotional clip saw Michael bloody and bruised, which left fans thinking whether Gabriel had won the battle. Gabriel was seen holding a sword to Michael's throat, which revealed his black eyes, meaning that he had been consumed by darkness.

The upcoming episode is expected to see how Gabriel will finish the battle, or who exactly will win. It will also portray the consequences of the citizen's hallucinations. With that, William Whele is expected to decide how the city will continue from there.

The synopsis reads, "Michael engages in a fight to the death with Gabriel as Vega smolders from the havoc of the Amphora; at the same time, William makes a decision that seals the city's fate.Meanwhile, Noma's mysterious past is explored; Arika contemplates her escape; and Claire joins the frontlines to protect her city."

"Dominion" season 2 episode 12 is expected to air on Sept. 24.
