Donald Trump Claims He Predicted Terrorism Ahead of 9/11 Attacks
Donald Trump has claimed that he predicted terrorism a year ahead of the 9/11 attacks, adding another item to his list of accomplishments.
The GOP presidential candidate spoke in a rally in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and told the audience that he can "feel" terrorism. Donald Trump's latest statement comes in the wake of his controversial claims that he saw people jumping out of the World Trade Center (WTC) when the twin towers were attacked by Al Qaeda in 2001 while he was in his home near Central Park, according to The Telegraph.
Trump said he is able to predict terrorism because he can "feel it," the report adds.
In a previous rally in Ohio, Trump said he had a view of the WTC from his apartment. The billionaire also said he was able to witness the moment when the second plane hit the building. His critics, however, doubted this claim and argued that The Trump Towers is located along Fifth Avenue, the report relays.
Still, Trump maintained that he had predicted that late Al Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden would try to attack the U.S. He said his forecast is written in his book titled "The America We Deserve," which was published in 2000. Bin Laden was killed by U.S. troops in 2011, CBS News reports.
"I saw he was making trouble. He had a big mouth, and he was talking," CBS quotes Trump's statement in Myrtle Beach. "… If we took him out, we would have two beautiful buildings standing there instead of one OK building."
In addition, Donald Trump claimed that he saw television reports showing Muslims in New Jersey celebrating the 9/11 attacks. However, authorities denied that such reports existed. But the real estate mogul said the media is keeping the report under wraps. He has even refused to withdraw his statement about seeing the video reports.
