Donald Trump trolling Megyn Kelly on Twitter after vacation
Donald Trump has resumed trolling Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly on Monday night, on her first on air after several days of vacation.
The Republican presidential candidate first criticized Megyn Kelly over her questions about Donald Trump's misogynistic comments during the August 6 GOP presidential debate. This time, the Fox News chairman defended Kelly after the latest Twitter attack on the female anchor, according to the New York Post (NYP).
"I liked The Kelly File much better without @megynkelly," the NYP quotes Trump's tweet on Monday. "Perhaps she could take another eleven day unscheduled vacation!"

Fox News CEO Roger Ailes spoke out in Kelly's defense and called Trump's attack "unprovoked" and "disturbing." The news chairman, who said Kelly is one of the best professional journalists in America, urged Trump to apologize for "bullying" the Fox anchor.
Earlier this month, a spokesman from Fox debunked the billionaire's statement about Kelly's vacation being "unscheduled." The spokesperson explained that the 11-day vacation with her family was pre-planned.
When Kelly went on air on Monday, Trump remarked on Twitter that the news anchor's vacation must have been a bad one because she seemed to be "off her game." The real estate mogul's supporters backed him up when he complained that Kelly was afraid to confront Dr. Cornel West, the report relays.
Trump also retweeted supporters' Twitter posts that called Kelly a bimbo, the Washington Post reports.
Kelly, on the other hand, insisted that she would not stop doing her job just because of Trump's criticisms.
"I certainly will not apologize for doing good journalism," Kelly said post-debate.
This is not the first time that Trump has been embroiled in a controversy. He previously attracted widespread condemnation after he called Mexican immigrants "rapists" and lost deals with TV shows in the wake of his other inflammatory comments. Despite these things, he still leads in many Republican surveys mostly because voters favor his unapologetic opinion on any issue.
