'Dota 2' News: Detailing the Changes and New Features Added to the Game Since the Start of March

Winter Treasure III also made available recently to 'Dota 2' players

March is only a few days old, but plenty of changes have already gone live inside "Dota 2."

First off, there was an update that was released for the game back on March 3 that brings some interesting additions.

Detailed in an earlier post on the game's official website, this update introduced a new hero inspection panel that allows players to look at their favorite characters in different ways.

This earlier update also made adjustments to teleport destination effects to make them appear clearer inside the game, and a bug that previously affected some items' right-click menus has been eliminated as well.

Also released for the game on March 3 was Winter Treasure III.

With Winter Treasure III now live and available, players now have a way to acquire some special items for certain heroes.

Included in Winter Treasure III are item sets that can be used by Chen, Gyrocopter, the Naga Siren, the Nyx Assassin, Razor, Weaver and the Windranger. Players who decide to get the Winter Treasure III will also be given a chance to acquire either the Very Rare Rubick set or an Extremely Rare set for Dragon Knight.

Developers also outlined some significant changes that have been applied to Chen's skins, and with these implemented, players can count on seeing "higher quality" mounts being released for this particular hero in the future, according to the developers.

Lastly, there was one more minor update released for "Dota 2" on March 6.

This minor update specifically affects the Spark Wraiths that can be summoned onto the battlefield by the Arc Warden.

Another tweak included in this small update will make sure that illusions are not incorrectly made stronger inside the game by items that are not in the possession of the original hero.

More news about other changes and updates that may be released for "Dota 2" should be made available soon.
