Dr. Phil '57 Chevy Stollen Out of Auto Garage, Worth $100,000

Dr. Phil may be having some mental issues of his own after the famed talk show doctor received news that his classic car had been stolen.

Despite personal attempts to repair the transmission on his classic '57 Chevy vehicle, Phillip Calvin McGraw was unable to get his car to start. The doctor, who has made a name for himself on television for the "Dr. Phil" show, was then left with no other options than to send the car off to the shop.

The car was flat bedded to an auto shop in Burbank, California. But only a few hours after Dr. Phil was forced to let go of his precious collector's item, he got an ominous phone call, according to TMZ. The caller reported that the car had been stolen.

The thieves, apparently quite anxious to get their hands on the car and quite quick about knowing its location, smashed a roll up door in order to get to the black vintage complete with red leather interior.

Although cops are on the case, it is understandable that Dr. Phil might be devastated. The car is worth an estimated $100,000- that may not be much for one of TV's most popular docs, but the car may also have sentimental value.

A longtime car fan, the Dr. appeared to have chosen the classic car over other, newer sports vehicles that promised to fulfill a need for speed. In 2006, he sold a 2002 Ferrari 360 Spider and a 2001 Gemballa Porsche Turbo at the Barrett-Jackson auction company in Palm Beach. The Ferrari was estimated to be worth even more that Dr. Phil's classic Chevy.

Dr. Phil was given his own show in 2002 after a handful of memorable appearances on Oprah helped launch his career into the spotlight.
