'Dragon Age Inquisition News': Patch 5 Beta Tests, Upgrades and Improvements
BioWare has just announced their fifth update to 'Dragon-Age: Inquisition, explaining it will the studio's biggest patch release in its history.
Game developer BioWare has made public their fifth and biggest patch for the role-player video game, "Dragon Age: Inquisition." The update will be available in the Skyhold's Undercroft area of the game, giving players the option to save chosen items when they have surpassed their inventory limit.
The game's website issued a press release informing fans they will be introducing Patch 5 to a chosen select few PC players who will be invited to sign up for beta-testing of the new update. According to BioWare, the developer-like environment in beta testing will help them identify any future issues while working in direct contact with the players selected to test Patch 5.
There is also confirmation from BioWare that item storage facilities for single player mode will be included in the sizeable patch.
Select beta players will be given access to the Black Emporium, a new feature BioWare describes as a "mysterious underground shop run by an immortal proprietor."
The Black Emporium will have powerful tools and artifacts, epic weapons and accessories, all-new crafting materials, and even a Mirror of Transformation to allow players to morph their facial features and change their voice. These items will be for sale to players to help them accomplish their game goals.
Patch 5 will also be offering gamers the privilege of employing an "auto-attack key" when in single player mode.
While more specifics about the upgrade haven't been discussed in BioWare's blog, including updates on multiplayer mode, the game developer should have a full list of patch notes for players soon.
Games Radar published their own list of other improvements that may make an appearance in the patch, including a more functional Skyhold, added loyalty quests, and more unpredictable gameplay other than the repetitive fade rifts, treasure mysteries and fetch quests that have characterized Dragon Age: Inquisition.
