Dragon Age Inquisition Release Date: November 18, 2014 Set, Character Race and Classes Revealed

Dragon Age: Inquisition is an upcoming action role-playing game developed by BioWare and published by Electronic Arts. The game is scheduled to be released on Nov. 18 for the PlayStation 3, Playstation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and the PC.

The title is a sequel to the first two games, Dragon Age: Origins and Dragon Age II, making it the third main title in the Dragon Age series.

The game is to be set in the continent of Thedas, the world where the two previous games were set. For Inquisition, the traversable areas will be multiple sizes bigger than its predecessors with one map described as being four to five times the size of Ferelden, the setting of the first game.

A number of races and classes are making its return to the third title, with playable races being the typical human, dwarf, and the elf. Additionally, the Qunari will also be playable for the first time. Classes have also been revealed by BioWare and will be able to use a variety of two styles depending on the player's play style.

The Warrior class can use either a two-handed sword for maximum offense or a sword-shield combination for a balanced offense-defense. The Rogue can either choose to use Archery or Dual Weapon proficiency to either strike enemies from afar or deal massive critical damage using two weapons in each hand.

There's also the mage, one who can use powerful magic to either destroy enemies or heal allies, but BioWare has not announced specialties yet.

BioWare producer Cameron Lee has described the Inquisition's A.I. to be "pretty intelligent." This way, players won't have to fear about their A.I. controlled allies to die easily or about the A.I. controlled enemies to be easy enough to defeat.

"I don't know if you will have to micro-manage people in Inquisition; you can if you want to, but the AI is pretty intelligent", said Lee.
