'Dragon Ball FighterZ' News: Additional Pre-Order Incentive Offered by GameStop
Additional pre-order incentive included with the 'Day One Edition' of the upcoming fighting game
"Dragon Ball FighterZ" was given its official release date just recently. And for fans now thinking about pre-ordering this fighting game, the folks over at GameStop are offering something extra that may be of interest to them.
Spotted recently by Just Push Start, GameStop is currently offering a 3-inch figure of Goku in his Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan form as an additional pre-order incentive.
The figure is included as a pre-order bonus together with the "Day One Edition" of the upcoming game.
GameStop also mentioned that the extra item is only available while supplies last.
Even if fans opt to pre-order the game from a different retailer, they can still obtain some other bonuses.
The other pre-order bonuses are exclusive avatars that players will be able to use inside the game's lobby as well as early unlocks for both Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Goku and Vegeta in the same super-powered form.
Fans who decide to pre-order "Dragon Ball FighterZ" will also be granted early access to the open beta that is expected to go live sometime in January.
Developers also recently detailed the different editions of the game that fans can choose to purchase.
Apart from the base game editions, fans can also opt for the "FighterZ Edition." This edition includes the base game and the "FighterZ Pass" that provides players access to eight characters set to be introduced post-launch.
There is also the "Ultimate Edition," and this one arrives with the base game, the "FighterZ Pass," the commentator voice pack and the anime music pack, which contains 11 tracks which fans will quickly recognize from the animated series.
One more option available to fans is the "CollectorZ Edition" and this one comes with several items such as the Goku diorama with manga dimension coloring, a SteelBook case and three art boards. This edition does not contain the "FighterZ Pass," however, as developers noted recently.
"Dragon Ball FighterZ" is set to be released on Jan. 26.
