'Dragon Ball FighterZ' News: Super Saiyan Gohan's Might and Determination Showcased in New Trailer
Gohan will be able to use his own version of the Kamehameha inside the game
Gohan may at times be overlooked inside the "Dragon Ball" universe, but it is clear that this Saiyan is no slouch when it comes to battling, as displayed in the newest "Dragon Ball FighterZ" character trailer.
The version of Gohan who players will find in the upcoming fighting game is the one who stood toe-to-toe with Cell and survived the encounter.
Gohan moves quickly while in his Super Saiyan form, and he is also capable of unleashing powerful strikes even just within a short window of time.
Gohan can use more than just powerful strikes, however.
Near the end of the brief trailer, Gohan used the iconic move that brought down Cell in the series. Gohan's version of the Kamehameha is a sight to behold, and with his father, Goku, helping him out, the move really can wipe away anyone unfortunate enough to be in its path of destruction.
Unfortunately, the trailer did not reveal that much else about what Gohan will have to offer inside "Dragon Ball FighterZ."
The good news for fighting game fans is that YouTuber "Maximilian Dood" broke down the character in greater detail in an earlier video.
As mentioned in the video, Gohan is one of the shorter characters in the game and that really impacts what he can do during battles. Gohan's arms and legs are significantly shorter than the majority of the characters included in the roster, so users will have to figure out ways to close the distance between their opponents whenever they are controlling him.
To make up for Gohan's less than ideal reach, this particular character apparently excels in dishing out the damage.
Gohan seems like he will be a challenging character to master, but those who are able to do so may be able to finish off their opponents in a hurry.
"Dragon Ball FighterZ" is set to be released sometime in February.
