'Dragon Ball FighterZ' News: Trailer Showcases Krillin, Developers to Hold a Live Panel

The hype is definitely up for "Dragon Ball FighterZ" after a successful closed beta was held during the weekend. Publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment seems to want to keep the excitement until its release as they posted yet another trailer for "Dragon Ball FighterZ." This time, it features the well-loved character, Krillin.

Bandai Namco's trailer features the gameplay involved when playing Krillin. Known as the one who succumbs to rage most of the time and the comic relief of the "Dragon Ball" universe, the publishers decided to focus more on his best moves. Amusingly, the trailer begins with Krillin tripping over his own feet, but he recovers fairly quickly. Other than that, his moves are expectedly flashy, and fans are excited to experience what he has to offer for "Dragon Ball FighterZ."

Meanwhile, game developer Arc System Works is also determined to keep the attention of the gaming community on them as GameSpot reports that they will be hosting a live panel for "Dragon Ball FighterZ" during the Tokyo Game Show. It will be held on Sept. 23 at 3 a.m. EDT. Although it is unclear about who will be attending the event, it has been confirmed that Android 16's voice actor Hikaru Midorikawa will be making an appearance.

Fans are expecting to hear more about the gameplay, as well as the plot of "Dragon Ball Fighter Z," which is the main concern of the fans. Considering that the game title focuses on an alternative universe of the series where Android 16 was revived to clash with Goku and the others, fans are interested in knowing how this could play out.

"Dragon Ball FighterZ" is slotted for a launch date sometime in 2018 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Although there is no specific release date yet, fans are expecting to have more details during the live panel in Tokyo.
