'Dragon Ball FighterZ' News: 'World-Premiere Reveal' of Two Characters To Be Presented Soon by IGN's Next Big Game
Fans have some ideas for who will be revealed
"Dragon Ball FighterZ" has been in the headlines a lot recently, with plenty of big news coming out just this past week, and there are yet additional important revelations set to be provided in the days ahead.
During a recent edition of IGN's Next Big Game, it was revealed that an upcoming episode of the show will focus on the aforementioned fighting title.
To be more specific, near the end of the episode, host Max Scoville teased that the "world-premiere reveal" of two members of the roster would be shown during the next installment of the show.
Roster reveals are typically exciting events for gamers, but there are some fans who are cautioning that the upcoming announcements may not be as significant as expected.
Over on Reddit, quite a few fans are hinting that those "world-premiere reveals" may just end up becoming gameplay trailers for the recently announced Nappa and Ginyu.
Those two characters have not been fleshed out as much as the other already confirmed members of the "Dragon Ball FighterZ" roster, so it is possible that there may still be important bits of information revealed.
Other fans are choosing to be a little more optimistic, however, and are expecting that completely new characters will indeed be announced.
The adult version of Gohan and Gotenks are two characters some fans are hoping will be added to the main roster.
Also, even if certain characters who fans want to see are not announced prior to the game's official launch, there is still a chance that they may be added eventually.
The previously announced "FighterZ Pass" will grant players access to eight more characters who will be added post-launch, and they will also be released together with corresponding alternate colors, avatars that can be used for the game's lobby, and stamps.
"Dragon Ball FighterZ" is set to be released for the PC, the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One on Jan. 26.
