'Dragon Ball FighterZ' Rumors: Recently Spotted Image May Be Hinting at the Introduction of a New Stage and Character

New stage in question could be the Sacred World of Kai

"Dragon Ball FighterZ's" collection of stages and characters are still growing, and recently, there may be some clues pointing to two new additions that are going to be included in the game.

Spotted recently by EventHubs, images on the game's official Japanese website may have just tipped off the inclusion of two new elements that have not been confirmed just yet.

The images in question show Trunks, Vegeta and Gohan engaged in combat. However, that is not the object of most interest here. Instead, fans may want to look beyond the characters fighting and focus on what is behind them.

In the background of the image is a place that does not look like the "Dragon Ball" universe's depiction of Earth. Instead, what it looks like is the Sacred World of Kai.

The Sacred World of Kai is a planet teeming with life and one that is home to some very powerful beings, though as EventHubs pointed out, fans may remember it most for serving as the battleground for Goku and Kid Buu.

Both the Sacred World of Kai and Kid Buu are not officially announced to be featured inside "Dragon Ball FighterZ" just yet, though these images may be hinting that will be the case eventually.

It would make sense too if developers did decide to include the aforementioned elements in the upcoming fighting game as they both possess great significance within the "Dragon Ball" universe.

For now, fans are just going to have to wait and see if they are going to the Sacred World of Kai and Kid Buu. And in the meantime, they can learn more about the other characters and stages that have already been confirmed.

There is also an open beta for the game that is expected to go live sometime in January, according to an earlier post on the European Bandai Namco Entertainment website.

"Dragon Ball FighterZ" is expected to be released sometime in February.
