'Dragon Ball FighterZ' Rumors: Will Android 21 Be the Main Antagonist?
New story trailer hinting that Android 21 has an important role in the game's story
There is going to be at least one original character featured in "Dragon Ball FighterZ," and it looks like she has a big role to play in the upcoming fighting game.
For those who may have missed it, developers previously revealed that the new game will include an original character named Android 21.
The first details about Android 21 were included in an issue of V-Jump magazine, translations of which were provided by Shonengamez.com.
According to the early revelations, Android 21 is a highly intelligent individual, one who can rival the brilliant Dr. Gero in that regard.
It was also teased that she is linked in some way to the reemergence of Android 16.
Now, a brief story trailer is shedding just a little more light on Android 21 the character.
Sure enough, the trailer shows both Android 16 and Android 21 side-by-side in different locations, almost looking inseparable.
Throughout the newest "Dragon Ball FighterZ" trailer, Android 21 could also be seen working on something, but it was unclear what it was and whether it had anything to do with why several familiar characters turned up onscreen while they were unconscious.
The trailer may have answered the question of whether Android 16 and Android 21 were linked to one another, but it also left behind some other pressing queries.
For instance, it was still unclear why there were clones of characters such as Goku and Vegeta featured. Is Android 21 responsible for them?
It was also easy to notice that Android 21 seemed to be depicted as someone formulating a plan, and hopefully whatever that is will be revealed soon enough so that fans can get a better handle on the game's main storyline.
Additional details about Android 21 and "Dragon Ball FighterZ's" main storyline should be made available soon, and the game itself is due out for the PC, PS4 and the Xbox One sometime in February.
