'Dragon Ball Super' Episode 56 Spoilers: Black Goku's Transformation Revealed; Possible New Powers for Hero; Goku, Future Trunks, and Vegeta Travel to Future to Square Off with Black Goku
The newest episode of "Dragon Ball Super" will feature the trio's journey to the future to save mankind. They meet Black Goku and plan to defeat him.
There are a lot of things that have changed in "Dragon Ball Super", but possibly the most obvious one is Black Goku getting a completely new look. For the latest episode of the anime series, creators introduce Super Saiyan Rose, who has a totally new look for fans to get used to.
New powers for new looks?
Compared to other Super Saiyan transformations, Black Goku's change has brought a new reddish-purple aura. Viewers will see him flaunting his new looks with unmistakable white-pink hair. Other Super Saiyan transformations lead to different hair colors including purple, blue, white, and blonde.

However, fans are not just contented with the new looks. Some are speculating whether this new image could also bring new powers for the hero, which will give him an edge over his foes, Blue Goku and Blue Vegeta. Potential power-ups could be revealed in the next episodes of the show's new season.
Episode 56: 'Rematch with Goku Black! Introducing Super Saiyan Rose!'
In a preview released for Episode 56, Vegeta is looking at the people who felt admiration for Trunks. Goku, Future Trunks, and Vegeta are travelling to the future to save the earth, with Trunks leading the way. The trio heads to the resistance headquarters to battle with Black Goku. But they encounter a deadlock with the residents there.
Vegeta came across people who admire Future Trunks and realized how people love the fighter despite all the unfavorable odds.
The preview was short and was shown at the end of Episode 55. But, an extended promo for Episode 56 was released by Fuji TV along with a summary created by writers of the show. Still according to the promo, the trio meets someone they did not expect to see.
Updates for Episodes 57 and 58 posted
Leaks of the titles of the upcoming episodes for "Dragon Ball Super" were posted on Twitter. According to the tweet, Episode 57 will be dubbed as "Advent of the Immortal God, Zamasu", and Episode 58 will be entitled "The Mystery of Black and Zamasu."
The post also confirmed that Episode 57 will air on September 4, while Episode 58 will be shown on September 11. There are no reports for any episode for September 18 yet.
Release date
"Dragon Ball Super" Episode 56 will air on August 27, Sunday. This will be featured on Fuji TV.
