'Dragon Ball Super' news, cast, spoilers: Beerus and Goku are set for the ultimate face-off
The last episode has certainly set the mood for what could be expected in the next one. Episode 10 was obviously building up for a more action-packed episode 11, as Goku was previously seen adjusting to his new God-transformation. Although seemingly bruised, Beerus was still able to surpass the popular Kamehameha wave technique, which means that a stronger one might be in the works for Goku.
According to IBTimes, the trailer released for the new episode showed the full potential of the brewing battle between the two gods. The trailer starts off with Beerus dominating Goku and thrusting him to the ground, with Goku's face in his palms. Beerus will also prepare to take on Goku with one of his strong attack techniques, while Goku once again attempts to launch a strong Kamehameha.
Despite an expected full throttle, it also looks like there will be a lot of light scenes during the face-off. Beerus is seen pulling Goku's nose upward, as well as some scratching from Beerus that Goku responds to by screaming in his ears. Although they will still ultimately cause some harm, it is quite amusing to see powerful creatures to take on such childish moves.
The trailer also seems to give off the vibe that Beerus might win this battle. At some point, viewers will witness Beerus sticking his tongue out with excitement on his face, while another scene will depict Goku hurt as Beerus looks down on him while floating relaxed. However, it's hard to say at this point if Beerus will succeed as Goku has already proven himself to rise up and dominate during the most unexpected times.
One of the most noticeable things in the upcoming episode is the improved quality of the animation and special effects. Earlier in the season, the show received many criticisms for its obvious unpolished animation. The budget for the Dragon Ball Z franchise is comparatively bigger than other anime, and being a long-running show, fans expect a higher quality of animation from its creator, Toei Animation.
