'Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2' News: 'Extra Pack 1' Containing Four DLC Characters Set To Be Released Soon
Another DLC pack featuring an original character is expected to be made available later on
New additions are heading to "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2," including four more characters contained within a recently announced DLC pack.
Two of the characters included in "Extra Pack 1" are Android 13 and Tapion.
Players eager to see more of Android 13 and Tapion can check out the gameplay trailer embedded below.
In the trailer, players can see that Android 13 is remarkably agile despite his size. He is fully capable of landing strikes in rapid succession if opponents leave their guard open, and he is equally adept at evading attacks too.
The trailer also features Android 13 using his signature attack, the S.S. Deadly Bomber.
What remains unclear at this point is if Android 13 will be capable of transforming into his Super Android 13 form.
The newly released trailer also gives "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" players a better look at Tapion's abilities.
Tapion relies heavily on his speed, his skills and his sword while fighting. Though he may not be able to match ki blasts with many of the characters in the game, he can still be a good character choice, particularly for those players who prefer to fight within close quarters.
Both Android 13 and Tapion will be made accessible to players via "Extra Pack 1" as soon as the add-on is released sometime this fall.
While it is unclear who the other two characters included in the pack are, there is a good chance that they are Dabura and the Gohan-absorbed version of Majin Buu, since those two previously announced DLC characters are also set to be released during this fall season.
Following the release of "Extra Pack 1," players can look ahead to the arrival of another DLC pack.
"Extra Pack 2" will feature one original new character as well as a new form for Goku. A new scenario will be included in the pack, and developers also noted that it will provide players with a different way to "interact with Dragon Ball characters."
No release window has been announced for "Extra Pack 2" thus far.
More news about "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" should be made available soon.
