The Sequel Will Be Released in October in the West
Capcom has released a brand-new trailer for the "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" game.
"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" follows its highly successful predecessor developed by Dimps. Like the first one, players will go through the major events of the "Dragon Ball" franchise via PS4, PC and Xbox One.
Xenoverse 2 Game Details
The game will be released on October 25 in the United States and will first be available for PS4 and Xbox One consoles. PC players will have to wait until October 28 to get their hands on the game.
For the plot, the game will start off two years after the end of the "Xenoverse." The hero will be joining the Time Patrol. According to Science World Report, the developers have added new characters and NPCs that players can interact with. Furthermore, the graphics have been upgraded, including the combat system that will happen in a vaster explorable "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" world. Players can customize their avatars as well.
Game Music Remixed by Steve Aoki
Forbes revealed that Steve Aoki remixed the famous songs used in the anime for the game. The official "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" OST will include the remixes of the highly popular "We Gotta Power" and "Cha-La Head-Cha-La" songs from the anime.
Aoki will also have his own avatar in the game as an NPC in the game's hub. It was reported that the internationally renowned DJ is excited to be part of the project and contribute what he does best by leaving his signature in the official soundtrack of the game.
Released Trailer Confirmed "Super Saiyan 3" Mode
The new trailer for the game was released on Anime Expo 2016 this month. Players can choose from existing characters including Future Trunks, Goku, Piccolo and more, but they can also choose to create their own.
Although the plot of the game is unknown, the trailer revealed that players can unlock a "Super Saiyan 3" mode. With that, it seems that the hero will face pretty challenging villains in "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2."
Game Rant suggested that players may encounter Goku's father, Bardock, and meet Future Gohan from the popular Android Saga arc where Future Trunks time traveled. Watch the new trailer below:
